Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) is a State-Owned Statutory Corporation with a clearly defined mandate to build shareholder wealth and to improve the provision of services to the people of Papua New Guinea. KCH is the Trustee Shareholder for 10 Majority State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) operating in the aviation, banking & financial services, insurance, maritime infrastructure, power, post & logistics, telecommunications, water & sanitation sectors.
KCH supports SOEs to focus on performance management, capital allocation and investment strategies. In some instances, this may involve partial privatization. The goal is to increase revenue, drive profitability, and seek partnerships that deliver benefits for the people and Government of Papua New Guinea.
Expressions of interest are being sought from individuals who are interested in being considered for employment as the Chief Executive Officer of National Development Bank Limited, a subsidiary of Kumul Consolidated Holdings and subject to the provisions of the KCH Act, as amended.
Under the KCH Act, CEO’s of SOEs are appointed by NEC on the recommendation of the SOE Minister from a shortlist of persons with the necessary qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, and attributes suitable for the positio.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree or Post Graduate Qualifications in Financial and Business Management.
- Members of the Papua New Guinea institute of Directors.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in service management in the Banking and Finance Industry in Papua New Guinea.
- Demonstrate expertise in finance, commercial and technical management, strategy, risk and diversity.
- In-dept knowledge and expertise to perform lending management and financial analysis.
- In-dept financial analysis, planning and scheduling skills.
- High level operations and people management skills.
