Mr. Graham King

Mr. Graham King is a career agriculturalist who has worked in Papua New Guinea for 35 years.
He worked in the oil palm industry as an Agronomist with PNGOPRA from 1996 to 2000, in plantation management at Higaturu Oil Palms from 2000 to 2007, and from 2008 as General Manager of Hargy Oil Palms Ltd until his retirement in 2019. Before joining the oil palm industry, he was a research agronomist with the PNG Department of Agriculture and Livestock, specialising in subsistence food production.
Graham has been a director of a number of PNG companies and associations, including Hargy Oil Palms Ltd, the Oil Palm Industry Corporation and the PNG Oil Palm Research Association. He has experience managing the people and resources needed to start and run agricultural businesses across diverse locations.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Horticultural Technology) from the University of Queensland, Gatton College, and is a member of the PNG Institute of Directors. He was first appointed a director of NDB in 2015.
